What is Invincible Defense Technology?

This is the first issue of Invincible Defense Technology News. I sent individual emails of the Invincible Defense Technology Newsletter to you in the past, but decided to switch to Constant Contact for a more professional look. My wife Lee Leffler is the Newsletter Gal.

This newsletter will give you updates on how Invincible Defense Technology (IDT) is being accepted world-wide. Be the first to know: which countries are invincible, which leaders are accepting IDT, IDT events, new books, media coverage and more.

Sincerely,
Invincible PeruPeru Added to List of Invincible Countries
The country of Peru has more than enough practitioners of the TM-Sidhi program to be invincible. Hundreds of students in Peru have learned the TM-Sidhi program. Now there are 700 practitioners of the TM-Sidhi program in this country.

Peru's population of 28,674,757 (CIA: The World Factbook, July 2007) needs 536 Invincible Defense Technology practitioners to create the Maharishi effect. Scientific research shows that the square root of 1% of a population must practice Yogic Flying in groups to bring about a significant reduction in crime, war and terrorism.

This is a civilian group. It behooves the military of Peru to take on this responsibility indefinitely. While a group of school children can sustain IDT for a while, it is the military's job to protect the nation using the best technology available.

Expect to find more information in future issues of Dr. David Leffler's Invincible Defense Technology News.

Holland also has enough group practitioners of IDT to be invincible. The United States needs just a few hundred more practitioners in a large group in Iowa.
COL Brian Rees, M.D.US Army Colonel Completes Masters Paper on IDT
After returning from Iraq, Colonel (Dr.) Brian M. Rees, Medical Corps, US Army Reserve completed his Masters Degree from the US Army War College. Part of his degree included his finishing a research paper on Invincible Defense Technology entitled, "The Application of Strategic Stress Management in Winning the Peace." Read it online.
Post-Traumatic Stress/IDT Articles in Two Military-Related Publications
Meditation Could Help VA was published by Military.com. Dr. David Leffler's op-ed describes how the Veterans Administration could better serve its patients with post-traumatic stress disorder-and save money-by prescribing the Transcendental Meditation technique. The Transcendental Meditation technique is one of the main components of Invincible Defense Technology.

Promise for PTSD appeared in Military Officer Magazine, a publication of The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). The article discusses several therapies for post-traumatic stress disorder, and included the Transcendental Meditation technique.

Can militaries eliminate terrorism solely by deploying weaponry and soldiers?

The answer is "no." Often, such strategies only raise tensions even further. Military leaders need to understand that terrorism and war are human problems requiring human solutions. The underlying cause of these, and other types of social violence, is accumulated stress.

Therefore, to eliminate such social problems, all militaries need to reduce collective societal stress. The answer to the problem is simple. No collective stress means no tension between rival factions. No terrorism.

Extensive scientific research indicates that the best way to reduce collective societal stress, and thereby snuff out war and terrorism, is by adopting an ancient Vedic strategy. "Avert the danger that has not yet come."

Physicist and Vedic scholar Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has revived the ancient Vedic technology of Invincible Defence in a non-religious manner. It has been quietly and successfully used by members of many faiths to eliminate conflict in the recent past. By applying this human resource-based technology, which is nourishing and not destructive, all militaries could reduce tensions and control terrorism.

A Prevention Wing of the Military would be the ideal way to use this technology. This wing would comprise about 2-3% of the military. The remaining personnel would carry out their normal military duties. The Prevention Wing of the Military would be trained in the primary components of Invincible Defence Technology-the Transcendental Meditation (TM) program and its advanced practices. They would practice these techniques in a group morning and evening. The group would radiate coherence in the atmosphere, affecting their own minds as well the minds of others, including those of the opponents. Peaceful overtures would increase from all sides, reducing tensions.

Extensive scientific research has shown that Invincible Defense Technology works. Mozambique used IDT to end its civil war in the 1990's. Today, Holland and Peru have enough practitioners of the TM-Sidhi program to be invincible. Will your country be next?
